Horizon Goodwill Industries is a human services agency and network of not-for-profit businesses. Our mission is to help people with special needs and barriers to employment improve their quality of life through work and related services. We serve 17 counties in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. Goodwill® employs over 525 people and operates 16 retail stores and other businesses to help fund programs and to provide job training and employment opportunities for our clients.

By donating and shopping at Goodwill, you are helping people and investing in your community. Goodwill puts an average of 90¢ of every dollar spent in our stores right back into critical community-based programs, career advancement services, job training and other programs. We help those who want to work but have barriers to employment obtain new skills to gain the self-confidence and sense of dignity that work provides.

When people with barriers to employment come to Goodwill, they are given opportunities for a promising future. Goodwill knows that it takes a comprehensive approach to help people find and keep good jobs. We are changing lives by providing job training programs, career placement assistance and other support services such as youth programs and financial literacy assistance.
