On Saturday 09/03/16 I had my son's graduation party from NYPD. We are from the Bedford Stuyvesant area so I felt it was only fitting to have the celebration in our neighborhood to keep the funds rotating in the community. Well big mistake I hired the Brown Sugar to decorate prior to I was highly disappointed. The owner Greg only provided 1 staff member for decoration she was tired and overworked. My friends and family had to assist for a fee of $2,500.00 none of my guests should have walked in to assist I was extremely embrassed having to ask my guest to help with the decorations. Then the all you can drink non alcoholic beverages were a joke 3 2 liters bottles of soda were provided. I didn't get two appetizers for the price as promised I only received the cocktail sandwiches NOT the salmon cakes Thank God I had additional food vendors because with the food portion that was provided my guest would have STARVED.I really believe they were good honest nice people but never again will I ever do business with Brown Sugar,Then the owner and the staff the bartenders friend or his daughters friend was on my food line getting a plate when they provided half pan trays to feed 40 people and when I asked for more macaroni and cheese his daughter Sandra said with an attitude I knew they give half pans shes a liar who will agree to half of food to feed their guest and for $2500.00 I asked her if she was sure there will be enough food she said yes be careful these people will smooth talk you to get your money but disappoint you the day of the event.My additional food vendors had more than adequate enough food for my party guests Thanks to Magnolia Bakery,Juniors,Yayo Spanish restaurant,Bedford Cheese my guest ate. Do yourself and guest a favor and go some place else.
