I've tried to contact the owner about the issue I had and ive been straight ignored which seems to be the norm with scams like this. I pawned a bracelet that was a family heirloom because I needed $120 for bills before I got paid from work. I pawned it at the north richland hills location where we were living at the time. We then relocated to dallas for work which is about an hour drive with traffic. My mom became very sick and I had to take care of her for a couple weeks. I ended up being 3 days late on my last day of grace for my $120 loan. I called up there on that sunday and talked to a man named Christian. I told him I was taking care of my sick mom and asked if I could come pay off the whole loan still to get my item returned so they wouldn't pull the ticket and sell it. He said that it wasn't pulled yet and there was no problem that he understood the situation and the hour long drive so he said instead of coming in that sunday to get my gold bracelet back that I could come get Monday. So I stayed home that night thinking my bracelet was safe. The next day I show up to pay off my loan and get my bracelet back and they informed me my bracelet was already pulled that day and going to be up for sale. I was shocked and frustrated as just 15 hours before was told by Christian My bracelet was fine. The manager comes out and sees the note in the system about me moving and being told Monday was ok. Well I was lied to the manager said nope were selling your bracelet or you can pay 35 to reinstate your loan but were going to bring your loan up from $120 to $200. So I borrowed $120 and was told I could get my bracelet out the next day for the original interest. They lied straight to me charged me $35 to reinstate it and added $80 dollars to my loan and now to get it out instead of costing $160 will be over $325 dollars. They scammed me knowing how important my 14k gold bracelet was worth to me. Instead of being good business men they held the fact that my bracelet is from Greece worth more than $700 knowing any sane person wanting there item back will just pay the extra $200. I asked for the owners contact info and was refused multiple times. If your pawning something of value do not go here they will lie to your face and charge you double what your original loan is just for laughs and giggles. This is the epitome of scum scammers. Just so sad because I do a lot of business with pawn shops for my business and since moving from Corpus Christi to dallas I have yet to find an honest pawn shop worth doing business with. They don't understand business 101 yes they lied to me and others and are making quick come ups from ripping people off but they are loosing thousands in the long run of repeat business. They will of course get there extra $200 for my $700 dollar bracelet but they lost 10-15,000 a year off my repeat business for other products. The pawn shop back home made over $26,000 off of my business these guys are retarded. Good job boys lmfao
