Horrible experience. I don't know where to begin. Did not fasten exterior supports. Only caulked them in place and they began to separate. Front door installed crooked and not centered-does not open properly. Hardwood floors cupped and warped, as well as separated since they were not nailed down properly. They have also developed creaks and soft spots where they have shifted. The only solution is to completely replace them. Did not follow architectural plans. Exterior wood is already rotting in places. Performed work that was not approved and then charged for it. Charged for change orders when they weren't change orders, but corrections for incorrect framing of plans. Billed for items that weren't completed. I had to hire another contractor to complete and correct work that was done improperly. For someone touting carpentry/finish skills, no shoe moulding installed. Trim is separating from wall along floors, as no moulding along ceiling was installed. Slapping up 1x6s does not constitute trim. Subs were no better. Circuit breakers trip every time it rains. Cinder blocks installed in front of crawl space vents. When questioned, could not answer budget questions. Really, the list goes on and on. After this fiasco, I found another customer who had the same issues on a much smaller project. I am not someone new to working with contractors, and have been happy until working with this particular one. I would give negative stars if possible.
