At a funeral for a close family member of mine they made 99 percent of the funeral about converting anybody who was not a fallower and not about the long lived life of the beloved family member. They also would not let me speak about my family member because of my sex. Women are not aloud to speak at their church. The elders are perverts and believe women sometimes need to be tought a lesson and there for believe if your husband is abusive you should still stand by them. Anyways back to the funeral after the ceremony we had a lunch in and since a Woman came to the lunch to mourn the loss of her uncle but was kicked out of the congregation, for not standing by her abusive husband, the elders decided to upset the family and tell her she was not welcome. And then after discussing with the elders this is not their choice they dragged the mourning widdo into it and if she were to disagree with them she would have been kicked out of the congregation which was her whole life growing up and all she knows. Its sad how they can brainwash and threaten even at the mourning of a funeral. Growing up my mother also left the congregation because the elders would touch her to teach her a lesson not to wear such tight clothes because she asking for it then. Also when she tried to leave the congregation they blocked her in her driveway and tried to force her to stay and threatened. Some of their beliefs in god make sense but there beliefs in family and people who are not a part of their congregation is sickening. I am getting married and if any of my family gets caught at the church I'm getting married in they will be kicked out. It is sad And sickening they are more of a cult than a religious group.
