Ok so I'm going to rant and I would greatly appreciate it if all of you would share this as much as possible. There is nothing worse than a thief or a liar and RT Cycle is both. We took Chip Daniel Helmes motorcycle there to have it serviced and have the clutch looked at to see what exactly needed to be repaired. The owner quoted us $200 for the service and a max of $300 to $400 for the clutch but specifically said that he wouldn't do anything to it until he had spoken with us first. 2 weeks went by, and knowing they were behind we were still waiting on an update call when we get a call today telling us everything was done and that the total cost was over $800. I go in to speak with the lady after she was immensely rude to Chip on the phone and she explains to me that it was not noted on the ticket for them to call us and they assumed we wanted our bike to run. I told her my husband was standing there when he was told he would be called and that we are not responsible for putting notes on their tickets. I also told her that I assumed she would like to get paid and that I didn't have the $800 which is why we wanted the phone call in the first place. After much argument and her explaining that they don't have time to call every customer for every little thing I informed her she could keep the bike until further notice since she can't do anything with it without a title and that she would hear from my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau, and that I would make it my personal goal for everyone to know how they treat their customers.
