I set up service call through this Maytag Authorized service. Tech was friendly and polite but apparently “in training”. He had to call “the boss” to confirm every diagnosis and then again to answer any question that I had. Had a bad compressor. When I asked for a price to repair the tech could not give me a price, just a range. He called the boss but the boss was busy teaching a class on Tues.’s and Thurs.’s. Tech said he would call me back with a firm price that night or next morning at the latest. I paid $85 cash for the 30 minute service and thanked the tech. Now two days later and have not heard anything from Techtronics and found that the rear of the refrigerator was never reassembled, parts on the floor. At $170 P/Hr I paid professional fees and got trainee (no) service.
