Avoid this crazy man at all costs. Very surly to begin with, and when he pulled out into traffic, he started typing on a handheld keyboard. I told him I'd prefer if he didn't do that and my girlfriend pointed out that it was illegal. He snapped and started yelling that it was a blue tooth device and don't try to tell him what was illegal. Then he pulled into a parking lot and told us to get out. He had the gall to demand $6 and I told him fat chance. He called the police. Ten minutes later, three patrol cars pulled in. I explained the situation to them, and they pointed out to the driver that it was illegal and he knew it. They came over and said if we paid him the $6, he would take us the rest of the way to the restaurant. No way would we get back in that cab. The officer offered to take us to the restaurant if we would pay him. I hated to give the jerk any money but I agreed to that. The officer did promise to mail the driver a ticket. No way I'll call them again.
