Doug Lowe is the proud owner and CEO of this small two family member operation. His son Aaron came to my home with an untrained assistant who destroyed my aluminum window frame with 20+ bent marks and cracked stucco, while trying to remove the glass unit in the wrong direction. While watching them, I told them repeatedly that it comes out the opposite way, but they ignored my warnings. When they took the replacement glass off their truck, I inspected it and quickly found that the white laminated glass had blue lint inside and was defective. Apparently, CEO Doug does no quality control inspection.

Since my cost to replace the wrecked window was more than my balance, I informed CEO Doug in writing that I refused to pay. He responded with a rambling email, apologized about the length, complained about poor profits, how hard he works, and said he would get back to me later.

The next I heard from CEO Doug was 3 months later via a Small Claims Court Summons. For that extra power-play effect, CEO Doug paid a premium for the Sheriff to deliver it personally. In addition, CEO Doug recorded an illegal Mechanics Lien on my home.

In recap, if you are daring enough to hire Beach Cities Glass and there is anything not to your liking after installation - from my personal experience, CEO Doug will tell you "it is not that bad”, sue you if you do not agree, and put a lien on your home (legal or not).
