Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a specialty in dentistry that provides the patient with safe, efficient, highly specialized treatment. The most common procedures are removing of impacted teeth, uncovering and exposing impacted teeth for placement of attachments for guidance into the arch by the orthodontist. We do surgical endodontics by providing apicoectomies of teeth that have apical lesions not responsive to conventional endodontic treatment. Our services include treatment of facial trauma,treatment of the loosen tooth or teeth and broken jaw bones. We provide dentoalveolar surgery for the complicated multiple dental extraction cases with alveoloplasties and bone augmentation to replace missing bone. We use intravenous sedation and general anesthesia.
