Reviews for South Plains Center For Foot Care
I have now had bunions removed on my right foot and ingrown toenails removed on both sides of my first two toes on my left foot. (I have the same procedures for the opposite feet scheduled for later this year.) Before (and after) both of these procedures, both Dan and I talked to people who have had these procedures done so we might know what to expect. The reports came from people who have had these procedure performed in the past few years to over 30 years ago. The unequivocal and unvarying response was PAIN. Lots of PAIN. Worth it in the end, but expect lots of PAIN.
While I would say I had some minor discomfort following the surgery, I did not have anything like what I would consider pain, much less PAIN. Even during the healing process over the next several weeks, I had discomfort, more if I pushed too hard, but not pain. I recently had my toenails worked on and he even told me to expect some pain/discomfort the first day or two. I had NONE. NONE.
For anyone who is considering any work on their feet, or even just treatment for and injury, go see Jeffrey McNeely DPM. I love the work he has done so far and am ecstatic that I was able to achieve it without suffering in agony! He is excellent at what he does and he friendly and funny to boot (pun intended). Trust me, you will not regret it!
